Hautzinger/Stangl - a ship

Album presentation by Franz Hautzinger and Burkhard Stangl.

Very often in the course of their lives, the two veteran individualists have made music together, without the idea of a joint recording ever being put into practice. This changed on the initiative of Nahfeld Musik in the spring of 2022, when the two sound artists met for two days in the studio in Vienna for the recording of the new record "a ship". The result was a unique sound kaleidoscope of daring, crazy-playful and disturbing-irritating sounds, which meet in constructive conversation, in fractious dispute or in ignorant, hostile basic attitude. Now this musical conversation is presented live at Reaktor.
